• GSJ formalizes relations with Geological Society located in Taipei (GST)

The Geochemical Society of Japan (GSJ) has been promoted international cooperation with foreign academic societies. Cosponsoring international conferences and exchange programs of members at the annual meeting have been enforced based on the MOU with those societies. Deepening the relationship to academic societies of East Asian countries is one of the most important subjects to further activate the international activities. We engaged MOU with Geological Society located in Taipei (GST), of which desire has been longed, prior to the annual meeting of 2018 held at University of the Ryukyus. Eighteen members with Prof. Yih-Min Wu, the president of GST, joined the annual meeting; most of them presented their topics to enjoy scientific discussion. We will send members to an academic meeting of the next year in Taiwan. We hope the fruitful relationship will continue for long time in future. Please see pdf file for details of MOU.
