Any individual who is professionally engaged in or associated with the geochemical sciences may become a Member of the Geochemical Society of Japan. A student may become a student member at a reduced rate.
Supporting member
Corporations, academic institutions and other organizations and individuals interested in the geochemistry and wishing to support the Geochemical Society of Japan may become Supporting Members. A supporting member has the same rights and privileges of a Member.

Provisional Membership System
Non-members who apply for membership in the new fiscal year and pay their membership fees by the end of July will be Provisional Members until the new fiscal year begins in August.
The Society’s Board of Directors has determined that the benefits for Provisional Members are limited to the following two items:
1) Application for discounted annual meeting participation.
2) Application for the Student Presentation Award at the annual meeting.
