Our business year ends in July. All memberships in the Geochemical Society of Japan submitted after 1 August will be for the following business year (August – July). You will receive the invoice from GSJ office at the end of each business year.

Due
The current dues structure for the Geochemical Society membership is as follows

| Student Member | 5,000 JP yen per year |
| Student Membership discount fee | 7,000 JP yen for 2 years 9,000 JP yen for 3 years |
| Senior memberships | 5,000 JP JP yen per year |
| Lifetime membership | 85,000 JP yen as a full payment (85,000 JP yen as a one-time payment?, One-time payment of 10,000 yen?) |
| Supporting members | 20,000 JP yen per year |
- Senior memberships are available to individuals who are retired and at least 60 years of age.
- Regular members who have been members for 20 years or more and are 60 years of age or older may change their membership status to Lifetime Member by submitting a membership application and paying the membership fee of 85,000 JP yen.
- If you fail to make a payment for three years, you will lose your membership of the society. You can reinstate your membership by paying all delinquent dues.

Withdrawal notice
A written document shall be mailed to GSJ for withdrawal.
The document should include a withdrawal notice, name, address as registered, and membership number.
It should be mailed to GSJ Office, c/o International Academic Printing co., Ltd.
