We are delighted to take over the executive editor task from Dr. Tasuku Akagi, starting January 1st 2008. We will follow the former main editing policy. There is no change in the instructions to authors for submitting their manuscripts to Geochemical Journal. Currently we receive 60% of the manuscripts from China, Korea, Taiwan and Japan. The other 40% are from Europe, Africa, Oceania, North and South America. We decided that Dr. Yuji Sano will handle those from China, Korea, Taiwan and Japan, while Dr. Daniele Pinti will handle those from the other regions. We strongly wish that the circulation of Geochemical Journal among the scientific community will be enhanced and the impact factor will increase significantly.
